Cavalier King Charles Spaniel : : Male
Please read this entire bio before applying.
Tucker is a timid boy who has already demonstrated some escape skills. We will only consider an experienced, patient, quiet home with another Cavalier/canine companion, possibly older children but we need to be certain that he will be safe. A quieter, low activity home with lots of patience is a must.
Tucker is a handsome ruby male who will steal your heart. He is 23 lbs and will be two years old on June 17th.
Tucker is a little shy but does come when his name is called, though he is a little cautious. He enjoys his crate and is content to watch the happenings in the house from his open crate or his spot under the kitchen table. He even enjoys watching TV!! He is working on potty training and is doing really well.
Tucker loves to run in the backyard and has lots of energy. He does run back inside when called. He is enjoying learning to walk on a leash and loves to explore. He is learning to sit on command though it is still a work in progress.
Tucker has been neutered, had his teeth cleaned, and is up to date on shots. He does have a moderate underbite. He is heart worm negative and has no heart or patella issues.
Tucker is a handsome, quiet boy that will make a great pet. Though he may take a little while to warm up to his mom and dad, he is not aggressive in any way and does not whine or bark.
Tucker enjoys being around other dogs. He does need a fenced-in yard. A securely fenced yard with a physical fence is required. He has not been around children and may be nervous around them at first as he still startles at loud noises. But he is quiet and gentle and is just now learning to play.
If you would like to be considered for Tucker’s forever home, please complete an application first,, then e-mail Mary Coyne, firstname.lastname@example.org. We will be reviewing applications during COVID19 restrictions but no home visits or adoptions will be completed until the crisis has passed. Applications within a reasonable driving distance that meet all his needs will be considered. We do not ship dogs or use commercial transports.
