Bella is a beautiful 1 year-old blenheim Cavalier recently rescued from a puppy mill in Tennessee. In just a week she has really come out of her shell, learning to walk on a leash, go up and down stairs, and just learning how to be a dog.

Bella has a sweet disposition and loves to be around people. She was very shy at first, but in just a few days has really blossomed into a well-mannered and fun-loving dog. She still has plenty of puppy in her, and loves to run in our fenced backyard. She has even taught a thing or two to her foster siblings. We were amazed to see our beagle, Tucker and maltese, Daisy running around with Bella, chasing each other playfully. She is not 100 percent housebroken yet, but is pretty well versed in the routine. She typically goes outside with her foster siblings and does her business there, coming back to the door when she wants to be let back in. She walks on the leash although somewhat hesitantly. She loves car rides. She sleeps in a large crate with Daisy, the maltese.

Bella would do best in a home with a fenced backyard. She requires a lot of attention and encouragement, so she wouldn't do well being left alone for long periods. She loves walks, and enjoys her time with other dogs.

As mentioned, Bella is wonderful with her foster siblings and is very curious (but respectful) with our cat. Above all, Bella loves human companionship and especially loves to cuddle with her foster mom. She's learning that it's a pretty nice world out there after all.
