Jordan - AR

Jordan is a handsome tri-color boy who came to a shelter as a wanderer and found his way to Lucky Star.  Jordan is a big boy at 25 lbs and is not overweight.  He is very solid and muscular.  He is active, up to date on all vaccinations, did not even need his teeth cleaned.  His age is thought to be 2-3 years.

Jordan is very friendly and loving.  He enjoys snuggling and sitting on laps.  He is very smart and is learning basic commands such as sit and come.  Because he is a known wanderer, a fenced yard is a must.  It is also known that he was kept outdoors at his former home and lived under a mobile home.  He likes being outdoors, but has discovered and fully enjoys the comforts of indoor living.  Jordan gets along well with the other dogs and animals in his foster family although he will try to push his way into their food bowls at mealtimes.  This is not unusual for a dog who has probably had to search for food and may have even gone hungry at times.  This problem was easily solved by feeding him in his kennel.  Even though he will nap in his kennel, he much prefers sleeping on the big bed with his people and the other cavaliers at night.  He didn't understand what treats and toys were when he first arrived, but is quickly learning that they are fun!
