The Rainbow Bridge

This page is dedicated to all the prescious angels who have gone before us.  Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge. When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster. You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart. Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together.... Author unknown...

Bibi

Buttercup, affectionately known as Bibi, was loved and treasured by her adoptive Mom and her foster family. Her health declined in the last few months and unfortunately went to the Rainbow Bridge much sooner than those who loved her had hoped for.

Blythe & Iris
We were blessed to have Iris and Blythe join our family in 2006. They had been rescued together and stayed together during their time at the SPCA and in their Lucky Star foster home. We adopted Iris first, but could not forget about her best friend Blythe. A few weeks later we adopted Blythe so they could stay together in their new lives. We will never forget they day they were reunited in our home...their smiles and tail wagging when they first saw each other are memories we will forever treasure. These precious girls settled into life as the treasured family members they deserved to be. Our little Blythe made her way across the Rainbow Bridge in 2012. Last week it was time for Iris to cross over the bridge and we know Blythe was there to greet her, along with our other pups who had already made the journey, Angel, Gracie, Frannie and Pudgie. We will miss them dearly as will many of our friends and family

Brianna

Brianna (aka Lucky Star Farrah) went to the Rainbow Bridge, December 14, 2018. Much loved by her family and her cavalier siblings. You were such a good girl Bree.
