The Rainbow Bridge

This page is dedicated to all the prescious angels who have gone before us.  Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge. When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster. You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart. Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together.... Author unknown...

Scarlet
"This is my beautiful Scarlett (O'Hara).  I adopted her when she was around 10, deaf, heart issues and a luxating patella..  Unfortunately, Scarlett developed a tumor on her heart.  My heart breaks, I miss her snoring, especially at night, as she always slept on my pillow.  Run free, Scarlett, where you can breathe with no problems and run on healthy little legs.  I'll miss you forever and look forward to seeing you on the other side".

Seth

Seth was fostered by two special fosters. First his foster Mom, Ava and then was adopted by his second foster Mom, Brenda.  Ava continued to visit Seth and she and Brenda became friends because of this special boy. He had many health problems but Brenda gave him the best life possible. He got to enjoy his favorite meal, a cheeseburger before he went to the bridge on 9/20/2019.

Sophie (Shay)

Sophie, formerly Shay, Lucky Star class of 2014 passed away on November 22 due to a brain tumor. She was a wonderful girl who spent her days with her Daddy at his church. She was a treasured friend of the staff and the school children who attended there. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She will finally be able to meet Gibson, her father's first cavalier, at the Rainbow Bridge.

Sparky
Sparky/Aidan was one of several dozens Cavaliers rescued from a large kennel closing in WV. What a lucky boy to have had such a long life of a loved family member.

Stanley

From Stanley's Mom:

My little Stanley came from the Pedigree Pets raid in 2012. Lucky Star rescued the 12 cavaliers.. Nearly blinded from an untreated eye condition, 9 teeth had to be pulled, and undernourished, Lucky Star fostered him and then we adopted him. He passed away this past spring (2017) from cancer so we didn't have long enough time with us. Caged for so long he made up for lost time by having a blast in his new home. He was a special little guy. I miss him.
